Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 Aux is an overdrive pedal for bassplayers with an integrated cabinet simulator, Aux In and headphones output. The Vintage Ultra v2 features all the versatility and sonic possibilities of the first version plus: (1) Single user loadable cabinet simulation impulse response. (2) Micro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load a different Virtual Cabinet through the Darkglass Suite. (3) 3.5mm headphone output with cabinet simulation. (4) Balanced XLR output with switchable cabinet simulation.

The pedal has 8 knobs and a couple of switches. The Master Volume adjusts the overall volume of the unit. Ideal for fine tuning the output on clean mode. It also serves as a DI level control. The Blend knob mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio. The Drive knob sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal.

The Attack Switch sets the amount of treble content to saturate and the Grunt Switch sets the amount of low frequency content to saturate by selecting between three different bass boost levels before the clipping stage.

The pedal has an extensive EQ section. The Bass knob boosts or cuts 12 dB at 100Hz. The Lo Mids are switchable between 250Hz, 500Hz and 1kHz and can also be boosted or cut with 12 dB. The Hi Mids are switchable between 750Hz, 1.5KHz and 3kHz and can also be boosted or cut with 12 dB. The Treble cuts or boosts with 2dB at 5kHz.

The pedal is powered by a standard 9 volts power supply (sold separately).
