Death by Audio Octave Clang V2 is an octave fuzz and a reissue from this highly coveted  fuzz. The result is a ferocious,, and thunderous force.

In the decade since it disappeared, Death by Audio revisited the original Clang circuit, sculpting it into something better that is as usable as possible for today’s musicians.

Embraced by professionals and punks alike, the vintage Octave Clang was created to unleash distinctly unconventional tones that captivated the senses. In this it succeeded, but many users found it difficult to tame. Today, Death by Audio have refined and extended the range of the original controls, added a footswitchable octave, and did some under-the-hood supercharging.

Allows misbiasing the distortion circuitry. Leave this control in the middle (5-6) for standard functionality, or turn it left or right to skew the character of the distortion to a rougher sound. Access this control by removing the back plate of the Octave Clang.

The resulting circuit is an insane yet versatile beast, empowering you to easily sculpt discordant ringing drones, visceral octave scrapes, and ground-shaking distortion. The revitalized Octave Clang is primed and ready to destroy!

Death by Audio is a Brooklyn-based company known for creating innovative and experimental guitar effects pedals. Founded in 2002 by musician and engineer Oliver Ackermann (of the band A Place to Bury Strangers), the company gained a reputation for crafting high-quality, handmade pedals that produce unique, often aggressive sounds. Their designs cater to musicians seeking noise-heavy, distortion-filled, and unconventional tones, with products like the "Fuzz War" and "Echo Dream" becoming popular among experimental rock and shoegaze artists. In addition to its pedals, Death by Audio was also a multi-use space in Brooklyn, which functioned as a music venue, recording studio, and artist collective until it closed in 2014.
