JAM pedals  Octaurus NOS is a vintage and warm octafuzz, based on the same 60s NOS silicon transistors of the limited edition Octaurus.

As you hold the Octaurus in your hands, you’re holding more than just another octafuzz – you’re gripping both a conduit to unbridled power, and an all-access pass to sounds and ideas yet unclaimed.

Featuring the same rare batch of early 60s NOS silicon transistors its limited predecessor did, this version offers a tonal character that’s as authentic as it gets. If you’re chasing vintage octafuzz with unmatched warmth and responsiveness, this is the one. Stomp on the Bull, and he will stomp you back!

Its layout is straight-forward and intuitive with a highly responsive set of controls for your standard volume, tone and gain pots. There are also 2 toggle-switches. The left one alternates between a mid- scooped voicing (more industrial fuzz feel, suitable for tight riffing and a more pronounced octave effect) and a full range voicing (suitable for harmonically rich lead lines). The right one allows you to select symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping for different flavours of tightness, feel and definition.

The pedal is powered by a 9 volts power supply (not included) or a 9 volts battery.
