Wren and Cuff Caprid Original

Wren and Cuff Caprid Original is an extremely accurate recreation of the early ’70s Ram’s Head Muff, even the enclosure is a recreation. Wren and Cuff has always been known for vintage Muff recreations, and when the full size original Caprid hit the scene in 2012 it was an instant hit, getting rave reviews.

It had a great 5 year run. The pedal was then placed on hiatus in 2017 due to the manufacturing cost.  After many years and many requests, Wren and Cuff have finally given in and reissued their famous Caprid OG.

The pedal is a precise recreation of the early ’70s Ram’s Head Muff, even the enclosure is a phenomenal recreation of the original units, but none of that matters if the pedals doesn’t sound amazing. And it really does. Dripping with sustain and rich in upper harmonic goodness this is the Muff you have been looking for if you crave the original Ram’s Head sound.
