Gamechanger Audio Plasma Coil is een speciale versie van het inmiddels beruchte Plasma pedaal. Het pedaal produceert distortion door het binnenkomende signaal om te vormen in zogenaamde plasma-ontladingen met extreem hoog voltage van 3500 volt.

Met deze techniek wordt een zeer zware en toch transparante distortion gecreëerd met een uniek geluidskarakter en bliksemsnelle dynamische respons. De ontladingen vinden plaats in een buis die met speciaal gas gevuld is. Het leuke van dit pedaal is dat je je gitaarsignaal kunt zien, je ziet de elektrische ontladingen terwijl je speelt.

Deze speciale versie is samen met Third Man Records van gitarist Jack White ontwikkeld. In plaats van een clean blend, die op het originele plasma pedaal zit, zijn er op dit pedaal 6 effecten toegevoegd onder de middelste draaiknop. Naast een volume boost en een octafuzz zitten er twee combinaties met hogere en lagere harmonische boventonen op. Daarnaast kun je je gitaargeluiden bewerken met een bitcrusher-stijl effect. Deze Third Man Plasma Coil gaat nog een stapje verder dan het origineel zonder de goede eigenschappen, een geweldige vervorming met krachtige noise gate, te verliezen!
