Benson Florist is a one-of-a-kind delay pedal with two delay-lines that dynamically modulate in reaction to your pick attack.
After being blown away by Non-Human Audio’s Slow Loris pedal, Chris’s (from Benson Amps) adulation led him to join forces with NHA’s Dave Jordan to craft this one-of-a-kind modulation machine. It’s a truly idiosyncratic circuit featuring two delay channels .
Depending on how you set the per-channel intensity controls, a subtle strike of the string may result in a semi-conventional chorus shimmer; meanwhile, a forceful pluck sends your sound straight into the psychedelic stratosphere.
And while the Florist supplies untold hours of sonic exploration, a straightforward 5-knob control scheme featuring dedicated volume/intensity knobs for the two channels and a Dry volume knob makes it a breeze to navigate.
Finally, the Florist adds an entirely new element to the Slow Loris formula with its latching Ghosts control, a switch that surges both delay channels with haunting edge-of-feedback oscillation.
It is powered by a standard (9 volts Boss-style) power supply (not included).
