Free The Tone Future Factory is a stereo digital delay with a new way of modulation, an outstanding sound quality and interesting features.
Many digital delay with a modulation function use a low frequency oscillator (LFO) which changes at a preset cycle. In this pedal modulation is created with an unique method in which the signal’s phase changes at random when the signal crosses a certain attenuation level. This creates an unprecedented, spacious effect.
The delay has a dedicated 3-band equalizer for the delay sound. This EQ can alter frequencies to match instruments that are used and is a useful feature for guitarists and bassists, as well as saxophonists, violinists, DJ’s, or keyboardists.
The Future Factory has two delay modules that can be used as a stereo delay or easily used in mono mode by connecting them in series. For users who will mainly use this unit in mono, soft clipping is added to one channel of the delay. By distorting the delay sound and adding it to the dry sound you can create a very musical sound. The delay sound’s bandwidth is narrowed but harmonic overtones are added. This enables the creation of a sound similar to that made by vintage devices.
The pedal is powered by a standard 9 volts power supply (not included).
