Universal Audio Orion Tape Echo

Universal Audio Orion Tape Echo is a pedal that brings the magical, dreamy delay effects of vintage ’70s Maestro Echoplex EP-III tape delays to your board. With this pedal, you can add authentic tape echoes to your sound, ranging from subtle repeats to rich, atmospheric layers.

The pedal offers three selectable tape modes: Mint, Worn, and Old, each with unique tonal colors and textures. The Wonk control allows you to adjust the wow and flutter effects, adding variation to your echoes, from subtle modulation to eccentric tape effects.

A standout feature of the Orion is its faithful emulation of the EP-III’s legendary solid-state preamp. This function adds warmth and punch to your sound and can be easily toggled on or off with a switch on the back of the pedal.

The pedal is robustly built and designed for years of reliable use. With switchable true/trails bypass and analog dry-through, you maintain the integrity of your dry signal even when the effect is off.

A power supply (9 volts) is not included.
